My name is Robert Hartings, and I am a dedicated Software Engineer and IT Consultant at itestra GmbH, based in Aachen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University, building upon my Bachelor’s degree from Hochschule Niederrhein.

With a strong foundation in software development and a keen interest in cyber security, I have accumulated significant experience in various roles. At itestra, I have contributed to the development of Java Spring Boot applications with both React and Angular frontends, catering to diverse client needs in retail and insurance sectors. My tenure as an IT Specialist at fahrrad-Ass.de has further honed my skills in e-Commerce, server management, online shop administration, and providing comprehensive IT solutions to support operational efficiency.

As a former member of the RWTHCTF team, I actively engaged in competitive Capture the Flag (CTF) events, deepening my understanding of security in software applications. I have worked on numerous projects utilizing technologies such as Python, Git, Java, C, C++, CSS, HTML, and Vue, React, Angular, and I am excited about the prospect of exploring Go in future endeavors.
